Swissmem
Swissmem is the association of the Swiss mechanical, electrical and metal industries (MEM) and related technology-oriented sectors and comprises around 1,200 member companies. Swissmem gives the MEM sector a strong voice in politics and specifically brings the interests of the companies into the political process. Among other things, Swissmem is campaigning for Switzerland to join the European satellite-based earth observation programme "Copernicus" so that Swiss industry can continue to participate in the EU's investment programmes in the future. www.weltraum-schweiz.ch/copernicus
